Palworld Fusion Pals List: All Unique Breeding Combos

Not every Palworld egg follows the normal breeding formula. A specific set of parent pairs ignore it completely and produce a Palworld Fusion Pals — rare subspecies like Anubis, Grizzbolt, and Mossanda Lux that you can’t get any other way. This page lists every confirmed Fusion Pal combo in one place. Once you know which pair you need, plug it straight into our Palworld breeding calculator to double-check the result and plan the rest of your breeding chain.

Palworld Fusion Pals list — rare subspecies bred from unique parent combos

What Are Fusion Pals in Palworld?

Every normal Palworld breeding pair produces a child based on the parents’ combined Breeding Rank — the game averages the two values and picks whichever Pal sits closest to that number. Fusion Pals break that rule entirely. A small, fixed list of parent pairs is hard-coded to produce a specific rare subspecies instead, no matter what the rank formula would normally predict. That’s how you get Pals like Anubis, Grizzbolt, and Mossanda Lux, none of which can be caught in the wild in the normal way.

Here’s every confirmed Fusion Pal combo. Parent order usually doesn’t matter — what matters is having one of each species in the pair.

⚠️ Community-documented combos — most are well-verified, but Pocketpair occasionally rebalances breeding tables between patches. If a pair on this list doesn’t produce the expected result in-game, check our breeding calculator for the current formula-based result, or verify against the community wiki.

Same-Species Legendary Pals

A separate group of Pals doesn’t use the rank formula or a fusion combo at all — they only “breed true” from two of their own species, or are caught directly. These are usually Legendary or boss-exclusive Pals:

  • Chikipi
  • Blazamut Ryu
  • Paladius
  • Necromus
  • Frostallion
  • Jetragon
  • Bellanoir Libero
  • Mimog
  • Xenovader
  • Xenogard
  • Xenolord

In other words, breeding two Jetragon together produces another Jetragon — but there’s no combo of other Pals that creates one from scratch.

Tips for Farming Fusion Pals

  • Keep one of each “ingredient” species on hand in your Palbox so you’re never stuck catching one from scratch mid-breeding-session.
  • Stock plenty of Cake before you start — most Fusion Pal targets take several attempts even once you have the right pair, since egg RNG and passive skills still vary.
  • Cross-check any combo here against the breeding calculator‘s Child → Parents tab before committing a rare parent to a long breeding session.
  • Read our mutation breeding guide if you also want a Fusion Pal with a mutated egg’s extra stats and passive.

Fusion Pals FAQ

Do Fusion Pals follow the normal breeding formula?

No. Fusion Pals come from specific hard-coded parent pairs that override the standard Breeding Rank formula entirely.

Does parent order matter for Fusion Pal combos?

Generally no — you just need one of each listed species in the pair; either one can be male or female unless stated otherwise in-game.

Can Fusion Pals be caught in the wild instead of bred?

Some can appear in specific wild spawns or boss encounters, but most are far easier to obtain by breeding the listed combo than by hunting for a wild spawn.

What’s the difference between a Fusion Pal and a same-species-only Legendary?

Fusion Pals are bred from two different species overriding the normal formula. Same-species-only Pals (like Jetragon) only breed true from two of their own kind — there’s no fusion combo that creates them from other Pals.
